public class PropertiesEditDialog
extends javax.swing.JDialog

PropertiesEditDialog is a dialog for editing "properties" of a class that implements the PropertiesEditable interface. This is useful when a program needs to provide the user a simple dialog for editing program preferences or settings. In addition to editing, the PropertiesEditDialog also provides input validation. If values are changed on the dialog, the client code will need to do something with the new values. The client code can either check that the showDialog() method returned OK_OPTION and then manually copy the Property values into the original variables, or it can register a PropertyChangeListener for each Property; PropertyChangeListeners are notified of new values only when the dialog completes with the OK_OPTION. Note: The dialog cannot complete with the OK_OPTION unless all user inputs contain valid values.
